1.Q:Do I need to install another alarm panel with the smoke alarm?

A:No,there is no need for a alarm panel for this kind of smart smoke detector,which is wifi connection supported.

2.Q:Does it have a silence button?

A:Yes,it owns the button for testing and sound silence manually.

3.Q:How long do batteries last?

A:After about a year the batteries were still working fine. That said, I’m not sure how long they’ll actually last because, for SAFETY SAKE, it is recommended you replace batteries ONCE A YEAR regardless if they’re still working or not.Or when the battery power is low,the detector LED will flash every 4 seconds to inform users to replace the battery.
